Senior Power Engineer


We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power Engineer to join our team in Eldoret. As a Senior Power Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient power systems for various projects. You will also be responsible for overseeing the work of junior engineers and providing technical guidance and support.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain power systems for various projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for proposed projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Identify potential issues and provide solutions to ensure optimal performance of power systems.
- Oversee the work of junior engineers and provide technical guidance and support.
- Collaborate with other teams to coordinate project requirements.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to upper management.
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and incorporate new technologies into project designs.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Power Engineer.
- Strong understanding of power system design principles and practices.
- Proficient in using relevant software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or PSCAD.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
