Indian Barber in Malindi, Kenya



Our busy barber shop in Malindi is seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Barber to join our team. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month, and we are looking for someone who can start immediately. As an Indian Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality hair cutting and grooming services to our clients. You must have excellent customer service skills and be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
- Must be of Indian nationality
- Fluent in English (no additional languages required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a barber
- Able to work full-time, including weekends and evenings
- Must have your own visa for working in Kenya
- No accommodation provided, so candidates must already reside in Malindi or have plans for accommodation
- Must be able to start immediately

Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and consult with them on their desired haircuts or grooming services
- Provide haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and other grooming services according to the client's preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment
- Keep up-to-date with current trends and techniques in the barbering industry
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Formal training from a barber school preferred but not required
- Knowledge of different hair types and textures
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
