Key Responsibilities:
- Use surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners to collect data on land features
- Conduct research and gather information from maps, deeds, and legal documents to determine property boundaries
- Create detailed reports and maps based on survey data using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Communicate with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate data collection and reporting
- Perform calculations and adjustments to survey data as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols while working in outdoor environments
