Our busy bakery in Eschen is seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of delicious pastries, cakes, and desserts. You will work closely with our Head Chef to develop new menu items and ensure that all items are prepared to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes
-Decorate pastries using various techniques such as icing, glazing, and piping
-Create new pastry items that are visually appealing and delicious
-Maintain inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed
-Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety regulations
-Collaborate with other team members to develop new menu items
-Monitor food costs and control expenses
-Train junior kitchen staff on baking techniques and recipes

Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-volume establishment
-Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, measurements, and kitchen equipment
-Creative flair for developing new pastry items
-Strong time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
-High attention to detail for plating desserts attractively
-Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
-Degree or certification in pastry arts or related field is preferred

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this full-time position.
