Job Title: Preservation Architect

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients, historians, and engineers to develop plans for restoration projects that comply with regulations and maintain the integrity of the structure. Your duties will include conducting site inspections, creating drawings and specifications, overseeing construction work, and ensuring compliance with preservation standards. You must have a deep understanding of historical architectural styles and materials, as well as knowledge of building codes and preservation guidelines. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections to assess the condition of historical buildings
- Develop restoration plans that preserve the historical integrity of structures
- Collaborate with clients, historians, engineers, and contractors to ensure project compliance
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for restoration projects
- Oversee construction work to ensure adherence to preservation standards
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders throughout the project timeline
- Stay informed on current preservation guidelines and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in preservation architecture or related field
- Deep understanding of historical architectural styles and materials
- Knowledge of building codes and preservation guidelines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD or Revit

Salary: 1800$ per month

Location: Mauren

Preference for Malayalee candidates; however, all nationalities are welcome to apply. Visa sponsorship will be provided along with accommodation. Fluency in English is required for this position.
