Part-Time Network and Systems Administrator

We are hiring a Part-Time Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Porto. As a Part-Time Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our company's network and system infrastructure. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance tasks on all network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications related to the network and systems.
- Ensure the security of the network by implementing firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to support end users with technical issues.
- Keep track of inventory for network equipment and software licenses.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Network or Systems Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
- Experience with configuring and maintaining firewalls, switches, routers, etc.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills in English.

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Porto but has the flexibility to work from home.
