Job Title: Information Security Analyst
Are you passionate about protecting sensitive information and keeping systems secure? Do you have experience in information security and a strong understanding of cyber threats and vulnerabilities? We are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Almada.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying potential security risks and implementing measures to mitigate them. You will conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will also be involved in creating and implementing security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard our company's data.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in information security, with a strong knowledge of firewalls, encryption methods, intrusion detection systems, and other security technologies. You should also have experience in risk assessment, incident response, and vulnerability management. A degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
As an Information Security Analyst, you must have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. You should be able to think critically and anticipate potential security threats. Strong communication skills are also essential as you will be working closely with other teams within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Identify potential security risks and implement appropriate measures
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols
- Monitor security access controls for all systems
- Analyze logs to identify any suspicious activity
- Develop disaster recovery plans for potential cyber attacks
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in cybersecurity landscape
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security field
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities
- Experience with firewalls, encryption methods, intrusion detection systems
- Knowledge of risk assessment techniques
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001 or NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (preferred)
