Information Security Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Almada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, with a focus on risk management and data protection. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security incidents, conducting risk assessments, implementing security measures, and providing recommendations for improving our overall security posture.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security incidents to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks and provide recommendations for mitigation
- Implement and maintain security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols
- Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Stay current with latest security trends, threats, and technologies
- Work closely with other teams to ensure alignment of security practices
- Provide training and awareness programs on information security best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in information security or a related role
- Strong knowledge of industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), etc.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM
- Experience with cloud computing environments (AWS/Azure)
- Familiarity with penetration testing tools

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Almada (own visa jobs available)

Full-Time Position: This is a full-time position (40 hours per week).
