Heavy Equipment Operator in Almada, Portugal



We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery, such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. Your main duty will be to safely and efficiently operate the equipment to complete construction or excavation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment according to job requirements and safety standards
- Perform daily pre-operational checks on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions
- Safely load and unload materials using the equipment
- Use various attachments and tools to perform specific tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Knowledge of different types of heavy machinery
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends

We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month for this position. This is a non-accommodation role; therefore, you must have your own accommodation in Almada or be willing to relocate. Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate.
