We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Svalbard, Norway. This is a contract position with a salary of $1100 per week.

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in our city. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and government agencies to ensure that all preservation projects meet historical and architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans and strategies
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and government agencies
- Ensure compliance with historical and architectural standards
- Oversee preservation projects from start to finish
- Conduct research on building materials and techniques used in historic structures
- Prepare detailed reports on the condition of historic buildings

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Preservation Architect
- Strong understanding of historical preservation techniques and principles
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
