Entry-Level Restaurant Manager

As an entry-level restaurant manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant in Svalbard. This includes managing staff, ensuring high-quality customer service, and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Manage and train staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality customer service
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment
- Create schedules for staff based on business needs
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation of food orders
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff
- Develop strategies to increase sales and revenue

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred but not required
- Prior experience in the food industry is a plus but not required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
