Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Sheduva. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and implementing menus, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the quality and consistency of all dishes. You will also be responsible for training and supervising kitchen staff, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Create menus that align with the restaurant's concept and appeal to our target audience
- Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation
- Monitor food quality and ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, sanitation procedures, and menu items
- Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and equipment to meet demand
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items or make changes to existing ones
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment
- Manage food costs by controlling portion sizes, minimizing waste, and utilizing ingredients efficiently
- Develop relationships with local suppliers to source high-quality ingredients at competitive prices
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant environment
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, flavor profiles, and plating styles
- Ability to create menus that are both creative and profitable while catering to different dietary restrictions or preferences
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train others effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Understanding of food costing principles and experience managing inventory levels
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
-Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
Salary: $1600/month (negotiable based on experience)
City: Sheduva (for foreigners)
