Carpenter vacancy in Al-Kuwait Kuwait

Carpenter
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our growing team in Al-Kuwait. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. This is a contract job without the requirement for English proficiency or previous experience.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and building plans to determine materials needed
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, or hardware using carpenter's hand tools and power tools
- Finish surfaces of woodwork or wallboard in preparation for painting or wallpapering
- Erect scaffolding or ladders for assembling structures above ground level
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and building plans
- Excellent knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials
- Good understanding of math principles
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and tools
- High attention to detail with the ability to work independently
