Excavator Operator


We are currently seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Remish. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate and move earth, rocks, and other materials at construction sites. Your main duties will include performing routine maintenance on the equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation, and following project plans and specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and other excavations as needed
- Read and interpret project plans and specifications to determine the location of underground utilities and potential hazards
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as checking fluid levels, greasing parts, and replacing worn or damaged parts
- Conduct pre-operational checks to ensure equipment is in safe working condition
- Communicate with team members to coordinate excavation activities
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while operating equipment
- Keep accurate records of daily activities including materials moved, hours worked, and any incidents or accidents that occur
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to supervisor

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators in a construction setting preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to read project plans and specifications accurately
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance procedures
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods of time

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this position.

This position is located in Remish.
