Indian Chef for Traditional Restaurant in Vilnius, Lithuania

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Chef to join our team at a traditional Indian restaurant in Vilnius, Lithuania. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of authentic Indian dishes, using traditional methods and ingredients.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus featuring a variety of traditional Indian dishes
- Prepare and cook all dishes according to traditional recipes and techniques
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest quality standards
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain consistency in food preparation
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef, preferably in a fine dining restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to create new menu items while maintaining the authenticity of traditional dishes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and supervise kitchen staff effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Lithuanian is a plus)

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
