Milling Machine Operator



We are currently hiring for a skilled Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Eldoret. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to produce precision metal parts. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate milling machines according to specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain proper machine maintenance and cleanliness
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures at all times

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience as a Milling Machine Operator or similar role
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and precision skills
- Familiarity with different types of milling machines and their operation methods
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Knowledge of basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, etc.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
