Information Security Analyst


We are a rapidly growing company in the field of information security and we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our company’s sensitive information. You will work closely with our IT department to identify potential risks and implement security measures to protect our systems and data.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for improvement
- Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Monitor networks for any suspicious activity or potential threats
- Assist in incident response and recovery efforts in the event of a security breach
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the field of information security
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct employee training on best practices for information security

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and security systems
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST, or CIS Controls
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and address potential risks
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+
- Experience with cloud computing environments such as AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with penetration testing tools

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this full-time position. Accommodation can also be provided for candidates who require it.
