Construction Manager for Part-Time Work in Eldoret, Kenya


We are searching for a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee construction projects in Eldoret, Kenya on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion. Your main duties will include coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, creating project schedules and budgets, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, and providing regular progress updates to stakeholders.

To be successful in this position, you should have a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in construction management. A background in building design or architecture would be advantageous. You must also have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects from start to finish
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of work
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in construction management

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
