Merchandising Assistant


We are seeking a Merchandising Assistant to join our team in Muscat, Oman. This is a contract job with a salary of 1700$. As a Merchandising Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the merchandising team in all aspects of product development and management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in the retail industry and work with a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in product development by conducting market research and trend analysis
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality control of products
- Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records
- Support the merchandising team in creating product assortments and pricing strategies
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and operations to ensure successful product launches and promotions
- Monitor sales performance and provide recommendations for improvement

Requirements:
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Indian nationality preferred
- Currently enrolled or recent graduate from a relevant degree program (e.g. fashion merchandising, business)
- Highly organized with excellent time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
