Web Developer



Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Web Developer to join our dynamic team in Alta, Norway. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to our company's specifications. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of front-end technologies and be able to create visually appealing and user-friendly web pages.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing website layouts using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies
- Collaborating with designers to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Developing server-side code using PHP or other programming languages
- Integrating data from various back-end databases and services
- Ensuring cross-platform compatibility for mobile responsiveness
- Optimizing website performance and speed
- Troubleshooting issues and debugging code when necessary
- Staying updated with emerging trends and technologies in web development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven work experience as a Web Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and other programming languages
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Joomla
- Familiarity with SEO principles for website optimization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Additional Requirements:
Our company provides accommodation for employees. However, candidates must possess a biometric passport for ease of travel.

Salary:
The salary offered for this position is $1800 per month.

Location:
This position will be based in Alta, Norway. Norwegian nationality is preferred but not required.
