Indian Chef
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Indian Chef to join our team at a busy restaurant in El-Ain. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking traditional Indian dishes, creating new menu items, and ensuring the quality and consistency of all food served.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian dishes in accordance with established recipes
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of taste, appearance, and hygiene
- Create new menu items that incorporate traditional Indian flavors and techniques
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and menu items
- Monitor food inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Indian Chef in a fast-paced restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to create new menu items while maintaining the authenticity of traditional dishes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and supervise kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation of all dishes
- Attention to detail in order to maintain high quality standards for all food served
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment
Salary:
Starting salary is $1500 per month, with potential for growth based on performance.
Location:
This position is located in El-Ain, which is known for its vibrant culinary scene.
Note:
This position is open only to candidates who hold Indian nationality or have extensive experience working with Indian cuisine. Fluency in English is not required but would be considered an asset.
