As a Turner in Fonvieille, France, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of lathes and milling machines to shape and cut metal parts. Your expertise in precision machining techniques and ability to read blueprints will be crucial in producing high-quality components according to specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual and CNC lathes and milling machines
- Read blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine the specifications of components
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy
- Select appropriate cutting tools and calculate speeds and feeds for each job
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality output
- Inspect finished parts for defects or deviations from specifications
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Turner or similar role
- Proficient in operating manual lathes and milling machines
- Experience with CNC programming is preferred
- Strong mathematical skills
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
- Physically fit for standing for extended periods of time
