Preservation Architect - Kaunas, Lithuania

We are seeking a talented and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Kaunas, Lithuania. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in the city. Your main duties will include conducting research, developing preservation plans, overseeing restoration projects, and ensuring that all work complies with historic preservation guidelines and regulations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in historic preservation or restoration projects
- Extensive knowledge of historic preservation techniques and materials
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities:
- Conducting research on historic buildings and structures to determine their historical significance
- Developing preservation plans that comply with local, national, and international guidelines
- Overseeing restoration projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the structural integrity of preserved buildings
- Providing technical expertise on preservation methods and materials to project teams
- Communicating with clients or stakeholders to present project plans and obtain necessary approvals
- Maintaining accurate records of project progress, expenses, and changes
- Staying up-to-date with current trends and developments in the field of historic preservation
