Junior Information Security Analyst

As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our company's sensitive information and systems from potential threats. Your main duties will include monitoring and analyzing security events, identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security controls, and conducting risk assessments. You will also be involved in creating and maintaining security policies and procedures, as well as educating employees on best practices for information security. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about cybersecurity and looking to start their career in this field. No prior experience is required, but the candidate must have a strong understanding of information security principles and a willingness to learn. Accommodation and visa sponsorship will be provided for the successful candidate. This position is located in Lahore and offers a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor security events and investigate potential threats
- Perform vulnerability assessments and provide recommendations for remediation
- Implement security controls to protect company data and systems
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential risks
- Create and maintain security policies and procedures
- Educate employees on best practices for information security
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of information security principles
- Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc.
- Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred:
- Previous experience in information security or related field
- Certifications such as CISSP or CISM
