Machine Learning Engineer

We are hiring a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing team in Faro, Portugal. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing complex algorithms and models to solve business problems using large datasets. You will work closely with data scientists and software engineers to develop machine learning solutions that drive business value.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms
- Collaborate with data scientists to identify opportunities for applying machine learning techniques
- Write efficient and scalable code to process large datasets
- Conduct research on new machine learning methods and tools
- Evaluate model performance and make necessary improvements
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts such as regression, classification, clustering, etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
- Experience with popular machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark is a plus
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
