Head Pastry Chef

As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pastry department at our high-end restaurant located in Ar Rumaythiyah. This includes creating and executing new dessert menus, training and managing a team of pastry chefs, and maintaining the highest quality standards for all pastries and desserts. You will collaborate with our executive chef to ensure that our pastry offerings complement our overall menu and provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and innovative dessert menus in line with current trends and seasonal ingredients
- Train, mentor, and supervise a team of pastry chefs to ensure consistency and quality in all pastry preparations
- Maintain proper inventory levels and ensure timely ordering of supplies
- Oversee all aspects of the pastry kitchen including preparation, plating, and presentation of desserts
- Implement food safety standards and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the executive chef to plan special events or themed menus featuring unique pastries
- Stay updated on industry developments, new techniques, and ingredients to continuously improve the pastry program

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification in Pastry Arts preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Creative mindset with a passion for developing new dessert concepts
- In-depth knowledge of various baking techniques, flavor profiles, and plating presentations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Fluent communication skills in Arabic preferred
