Baker/ Pastry Chef



We are seeking a skilled and creative Baker/ Pastry Chef to join our team in Hawalli, Kuwait. As a Baker/ Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing baked goods and pastries for our customers. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create a variety of baked goods and pastries following recipes and instructions.
- Ensure all products are of high quality, visually appealing, and meet food safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop new menu items.
- Train new employees on baking techniques and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of different baking techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to work in hot environments for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
