Junior Turner - Entry Level

As a Junior Turner, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of machined components using lathes and other turning machines. You will work under the guidance of experienced turners, learning how to set up and operate machines, read technical drawings, and inspect finished products for quality control. This is an entry level position that offers training and development opportunities for individuals interested in starting a career as a turner.

Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced turners in setting up and operating machines
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine machining requirements
- Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Perform routine maintenance on machines
- Follow safety protocols at all times
- Communicate with team members to ensure efficient production flow

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training or apprenticeship in turning preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in working with machinery
- Basic understanding of technical drawings and measurements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of machine programming software is a plus

Salary: Starting at $1200 per month
