Welder - Contract Position in Oslo


We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Welder to join our team in Oslo on a contract basis. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities:
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks according to project specifications and industry standards
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain welding equipment and tools
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Report any issues or concerns to project managers

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Welder
- Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick)
- Previous experience working with steel, aluminum, or other metals
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work at heights if necessary
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or diploma in Welding or related field
- Experience working on construction sites or industrial settings
- Familiarity with welding codes and standards (ASME, AWS)
- Experience operating welding machinery such as plasma cutters or gas torches

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Oslo. Accommodation can be provided if needed.

Contract Type:
This is a contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Experience Required:
A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Welder is required for this position.
