Junior Nurse


We are hiring a Junior Nurse to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Junior Nurse, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the healthcare field while providing compassionate care to patients. This is a contract position with a salary of 1100$, and accommodation will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior nurses and doctors in patient care
- Monitoring patient vitals and reporting any changes to the medical team
- Administering medication and treatments as prescribed by doctors
- Maintaining accurate patient records and updating charts
- Preparing patients for procedures and assisting during them
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients
- Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families

Requirements:
- Must have completed nursing degree or diploma program
- Valid nursing license in Portugal (or willing to obtain)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently
- Compassionate nature with a desire to help others
- Basic computer skills for maintaining patient records

Preferences:
While experience is not required for this position, preference will be given to candidates who have completed clinical rotations or internships during their nursing education. Accommodation will also be provided for non-local candidates.
