As a Librarian, you will be responsible for organizing, managing, and maintaining library resources and services for our library in Atlanta. Your role will involve providing assistance to patrons in finding and accessing information, managing the library's collection of books and other materials, and overseeing daily operations. You will also play a vital role in developing programs and events to promote literacy and engage the community.

Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain library collections, including books, magazines, digital resources, and other materials.
- Assist patrons in finding information and provide guidance on using library resources.
- Manage check-in/check-out procedures for library materials.
- Maintain accurate records of library transactions and inventory.
- Develop programs and events to promote literacy and engage the community.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement new services or initiatives.
- Stay updated on latest trends and technologies in librarianship.
- Train volunteers or interns who may assist with daily operations.
- Ensure a clean, welcoming environment for patrons.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working in a library setting is desirable.
- Knowledge of cataloging systems, reference tools, online databases, as well as print media is necessary.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary: $1700 per month.

Location: Atlanta (Malayalees preferred).
