Typesetter for Print and Digital Media



We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Fonvieille. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for creating and formatting content for both print and digital media, ensuring that it is visually appealing and error-free.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and format text, graphics, and images for print and digital media using industry-standard software
- Collaborate with authors, editors, and designers to ensure that the final product meets all requirements
- Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines
- Troubleshoot any technical issues with file preparation or output
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in typesetting software

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in typesetting for print and digital media
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect errors in text formatting or layout
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with both English and French language content
- Knowledge of typography principles and current design trends
- Experience with HTML/CSS coding for digital publications

Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Fonvieille (accommodation not provided)
