Part-Time Database Administrator



A fast-paced startup in Copenhagen is seeking a highly skilled Part-Time Database Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases to ensure maximum efficiency and data security.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain database systems
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Develop backup and recovery procedures to ensure data security
- Collaborate with IT team to integrate new applications with existing databases
- Implement data access controls and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
- Conduct regular database maintenance tasks such as data purging and archiving
- Analyze and optimize database performance for improved functionality

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Strong knowledge of SQL, MySQL, and other database management systems
- Experience with database design, implementation, and maintenance
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR
- Ability to troubleshoot database issues quickly and effectively

Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Familiarity with cloud-based databases such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python

Working Hours: This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. You will be required to work 20 hours per week.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month.

Location: Our office is located in the heart of Copenhagen, easily accessible by public transportation.
