Preservation Architect for Biometric Passport Project in Multan
Our architectural firm is seeking a skilled preservation architect to work on a contract basis for our latest project in Multan. As a preservation architect, you will be responsible for the design and restoration of historic buildings that will house our new biometric passport system. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your expertise in both preservation and modern technology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 5 years experience in preservation architecture
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other architectural software
- Knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys and assessments of historic buildings to determine their condition and necessary repairs for the biometric passport project
- Develop detailed plans, drawings, and specifications for the restoration work
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards
- Oversee the construction process and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work is being done according to plans and specifications
- Keep detailed records of project progress, budget, and any changes made during construction
Salary: We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month for this contract position.
Location: This position is based in Multan, Pakistan. However, we are open to hiring candidates from other nationalities who are willing to relocate for this project.
