Preservation Architect
As a Preservation Architect in Multan, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. Your primary role will be to assess the condition of these structures, develop preservation plans, and oversee the implementation of restoration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed inspections of historic buildings and structures to determine their condition and potential preservation needs
- Develop preservation plans that include recommendations for repair, restoration, and maintenance
- Collaborate with engineers, construction contractors, and other professionals to ensure the safe and accurate implementation of restoration projects
- Manage project budgets and timelines
- Conduct research on historical buildings and materials to inform restoration plans
- Prepare reports and documentation for clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices for historic preservation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in historic preservation architecture or a similar field
- Knowledge of building codes, materials, and techniques used in historic structures
- Ability to conduct thorough site evaluations and develop comprehensive preservation plans based on findings
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, government agencies, etc.
- Attention to detail and strong project management skills
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month. Accommodation may also be provided.
Location:
This position is located in Multan. While preference will be given to candidates from Multan or nearby cities within Pakistan, applicants from other countries are welcome to apply.
