Pastry Chef - Indian Cuisine (Jizan, Saudi Arabia)
We are a high-end restaurant in Jizan, Saudi Arabia seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef specializing in Indian cuisine. Our restaurant is known for its authentic Indian dishes and we are looking for someone who can bring their expertise to our team.
As the Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing various types of Indian desserts, including traditional favorites like gulab jamun and kheer, as well as unique and innovative dishes. You must have a deep understanding of Indian flavors and techniques, as well as a strong knowledge of ingredients and food safety standards.
In addition to preparing desserts, you will also be responsible for managing the pastry kitchen, including ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and overseeing kitchen staff. You must have excellent leadership skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel with a focus on Indian cuisine. You must have excellent time management skills and be able to multitask efficiently. A degree or diploma in culinary arts or pastry making is preferred.
This is a full-time position with an attractive salary of 1200$ per month. Accommodation will be provided for non-local candidates if needed. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating delicious desserts and has the drive to continuously improve our menu offerings.
