English Tutor


We are a language learning center based in Eldoret, looking for an experienced English tutor to join our team. As a language tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to our students, helping them improve their language skills and achieve their learning goals.

Responsibilities:
- Develop lesson plans and teaching materials
- Conduct one-on-one or group tutoring sessions
- Assess students' language proficiency and provide feedback on their progress
- Create a supportive and engaging learning environment
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each student
- Communicate with parents or guardians about students' progress
- Stay up-to-date with current teaching methods and techniques

Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in English
- Experience teaching English as a second language (ESL) or foreign language (EFL)
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, or related field (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and organized with strong time-management skills

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.

Location:
This is a contract job based in Eldoret, Kenya. Accommodation will be provided for non-local candidates.
