Fitter - Bergen, Norway



The Fitter will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment in various industrial settings. This includes reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams, and using hand and power tools to assemble components and systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding, pipefitting, and machine repair.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and instructions to determine work procedures
- Assemble mechanical systems and equipment according to specifications
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, weld, bolt or otherwise connect components
- Inspect systems for defects or malfunctions
- Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning components
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role in an industrial setting
- Experience with welding, pipefitting, machine repair
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Knowledge of hand and power tools
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills

Salary: $1100 per month

Location: Bergen, Norway (accommodation provided)
