Preservation Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Randers, Denmark. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, ensuring their structural integrity and maintaining their historical significance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine their condition and preservation needs
- Creating detailed preservation plans, including budget estimates and timelines
- Collaborating with construction teams to oversee the restoration process, ensuring that all work is done in accordance with preservation guidelines
- Conducting research on historical building materials and techniques to inform restoration decisions
- Communicating with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to gain necessary approvals for preservation projects
- Maintaining accurate documentation of all restoration work for future reference
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Proven experience as a Preservation Architect, with a portfolio of successful preservation projects
- Extensive knowledge of historical building materials, techniques, and preservation guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with various stakeholders
- Fluency in English (Danish language skills are an asset)
- Valid work permit or eligibility for visa sponsorship in Denmark
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this position.
