Senior Accountant


A prestigious accounting firm in Nizwa is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and providing financial advice to clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in accounting, strong attention to detail, and excellent analytical skills. This is a contract position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve profitability
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Monitor cash flow and make budgeting recommendations
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
- Prepare tax returns and handle any tax-related inquiries from clients
- Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance when needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA designation preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Experience working with Canadian or Filipino clients is preferred
