Job Title: Indian Chef in Kaunas


We are seeking an experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Kaunas. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for preparing traditional Indian dishes, managing the kitchen staff, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and creating new menu items. You must have a deep understanding of Indian cuisine and be able to adapt to local tastes and ingredients. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a chef in a similar role, excellent leadership skills, and be fluent in English.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare traditional Indian dishes according to recipes and standards
- Manage kitchen staff and assign tasks as needed
- Monitor food quality and ensure adherence to safety standards
- Create new menu items based on seasonal ingredients and local tastes
- Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Order supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Collaborate with management on menu planning and cost control measures

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Indian Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations and cooking techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Attention to detail with excellent time-management skills
- Proven ability to create new dishes while maintaining authentic flavors
- Degree or certification from a culinary school is preferred

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this position.
