Entry-Level Barista in Bungoma, Kenya


We are hiring an entry-level barista to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. Our coffee shop is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual with a love for coffee and customer service. As an entry-level barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving various coffee drinks, taking orders from customers, and maintaining the cleanliness of the shop.

Requirements:
- Previous barista experience is not required but is preferred
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work well in a team

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their orders accurately
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, and lattes
- Ensure the quality of the drinks by following recipes and measurements
- Keep the coffee shop clean and organized at all times
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist with opening or closing duties as needed

Working Conditions:
This is a contract job with a salary of $1000 per month. The working hours will be between 7:00 am - 6:00 pm on weekdays and 8:00 am - 5:00 pm on weekends. The candidate must be able to work weekends and public holidays. Accommodation will not be provided; however, we can assist in finding affordable housing options.
