Office Assistant
We are currently seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Assistant to join our team in Nakuru. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our daily business activities.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock levels and placing orders when necessary
- Prepare and format documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and reports as needed
- Organize and maintain physical and digital files, including scanning, copying, and filing documents
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for office staff
- Assist with basic accounting tasks such as data entry, record keeping, and invoice processing
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, mailing, and shipping
- Keep the office clean and organized at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualification as an Office Assistant or Secretary is a plus
- Proven work experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with strong typing skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with fluency in English
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Indian nationality preferred
Salary: $1700 per month
