Librarian - Triesen, Liechtenstein


We are in search of a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team in Triesen, Liechtenstein. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain the library's collection according to the established system
- Assist library patrons in finding and accessing materials
- Develop and implement programs to promote literacy and encourage library use
- Maintain accurate records of all library materials and transactions
- Evaluate new materials for inclusion in the collection
- Handle interlibrary loans and resource sharing requests
- Train and supervise library staff, volunteers, or interns

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field preferred
- Previous experience working as a librarian or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of library procedures, systems, and resources
- Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to work well with diverse populations
- Proficient computer skills including experience with library software systems
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of multiple languages is an asset but not required.
- Experience working in an academic or research library setting.
