Entry Level Gardener

The Entry Level Gardener will be responsible for maintaining the gardens and outdoor spaces of our clients in Bungoma. This individual will work closely with our team of experienced gardeners to learn and develop skills in planting, pruning, weeding, and general garden maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic. This position does not require prior experience in gardening, but candidates must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Accommodation is not provided for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced gardeners with daily tasks such as planting, pruning, weeding, and watering
- Learn about different types of plants and their care requirements
- Help maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of gardens and outdoor spaces
- Operate basic gardening equipment such as lawn mowers and trimmers
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with tools and chemicals
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding any concerns or questions related to their gardens

Requirements:
- Passion for gardening and willingness to learn
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of plants is preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions from experienced gardeners
- Good communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Must have a valid biometric passport or the ability to obtain one

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Bungoma, Kenya (accommodation not provided)
