Part-time PHP Developer

We are a fast-growing tech startup in Porto, Portugal looking for a part-time PHP Developer to join our team. As a PHP Developer, you will work closely with our development team to create and maintain web applications and websites using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to create and maintain web applications and websites
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues as they arise
- Ensure the security and scalability of our web applications and websites
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a PHP Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks (such as Laravel or CodeIgniter)
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript)
- Experience working with databases (MySQL)
- Understanding of web security standards
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this part-time position.

Location:
This job is located in Porto, Portugal. You must have your own visa or residency permit to be eligible for this position.

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. However, you must be available during core business hours (9am - 5pm) at least 3 days per week.
