Office Manager (Contract) - Faroe Islands
We are searching for an efficient and organized Office Manager to join our team in the beautiful Faroe Islands. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment. This is a contract position with a salary of 1000$ per month and includes accommodation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily office operations
- Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence
- Maintain organized filing systems and databases
- Order office supplies as needed
- Assist with budget management and expense tracking
- Support HR with onboarding procedures for new employees
- Conduct research and compile data for reports and presentations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Prior experience in an office management or administrative role is preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of budget management and basic accounting principles
- Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion
