Database Administrator – Entry Level



As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, backing up, and securing our company’s databases. Your role will involve monitoring database performance, troubleshooting any technical issues, and implementing necessary updates and upgrades. You will also work closely with our software development team to ensure that database designs and structures are optimized for performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Implement necessary updates and upgrades to maintain optimal database functionality
- Work with the software development team to design and optimize database structures
- Backup and secure databases to protect company data
- Maintain data integrity by identifying and resolving any data quality issues
- Develop and maintain documentation related to database configuration, processes, and procedures
- Train end users on how to access, input, retrieve, analyze, and interpret data from the databases

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS)
- Knowledge of SQL programming language
- Familiarity with data backup techniques
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

Salary: $1400 per month

Location: Vianden, Luxembourg (accommodation provided)
