Junior Merchandiser

We are a fashion retail company based in Kaunas and we are currently seeking a Junior Merchandiser to join our team. As a Junior Merchandiser, you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Merchandiser in planning, developing, and executing merchandising strategies for our store locations. This is an entry-level position that requires no previous experience, making it perfect for freshers looking to start their career in the fashion industry.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Merchandiser in analyzing sales data and trends to make informed decisions on product assortment and stock levels
- Collaborate with the buying team to select and purchase merchandise that aligns with our brand image and target market
- Create visual displays and merchandising plans for store layouts to maximize sales potential
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or clearance of slow-moving items
- Coordinate with store managers to ensure proper product placement and presentation
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
- Participate in regular store visits to gather feedback from customers and identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field preferred
- Proven interest in fashion retail industry through coursework, internships, or previous job experience
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools is a plus

Salary: 1800$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Kaunas, Lithuania (no English language proficiency required)
