Handyman for Residential Properties in Washington D.C.

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Handyman to join our team and provide maintenance and repair services for residential properties in Washington D.C. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for completing various tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and possess a wide range of handyman skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month. Accommodation will not be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and repairing leaky faucets
- Perform minor electrical repairs such as replacing outlets and light switches
- Repair or replace damaged drywall, fix doors and windows, and install fixtures
- Paint interior and exterior walls as needed
- Troubleshoot issues with plumbing systems and make necessary repairs
- Maintain the overall appearance of properties by completing landscaping tasks

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Handyman or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of various handyman skills including painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, etc.
- Ability to use hand-held power tools safely and effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently
- Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with working hours from 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. The job may occasionally require working on weekends or evenings depending on client needs. The role may involve working outdoors in various weather conditions. The candidate must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.

This job is located in Washington D.C., USA.

Preference:
Preference will be given to candidates from Pakistan or Nepal who are fluent in English and have previous experience working as a Handyman in the USA. Accommodation will not be provided for this position.
